I had a painful tumor on the top of my foot that my Podiatrist wanted to remove.  I really didn't want to have to be off my feet from surgery and the tumor she said was mixed in with nerves and in a tricky spot to get at.  I told Julia about it and she said well, let me try putting some needles in it.  I agreed, because what did I have to lose anyway, but not having a surgery.  Within about 3 treatments the tumor was gone.  I'm so grateful to Julia for her healing powers and wisdom! Her principles are consistent -- not only is she responsive at an interpersonal level but she has also lent her expertise in times of national crisis. When New Orleans was devastated by hurricane, she joined other practitioners in Acupuncturists Without Borders to deliver services both to resident survivors and to emergency relief workers. Her generosity in spending 9 weeks of uncompensated time in this disaster area is more than commendable. Today, Ms. Raneri is both a supervisor and instructor for this exemplary organization.
